EU Regulatory Compliance

For businesses targeting the European market, regulatory compliance must be evaluated according to the final product configuration and the requirements of each destination country.

EU Directive 2014/40/EU (TPD) establishes requirements for electronic cigarettes and refill containers, including applicable capacity limits, product notification, ingredient and emissions information, health warnings, and other regulatory obligations.

Important: A 2ml + 10ml configuration does not automatically establish TPD compliance. The applicable requirements depend on the actual tank structure, liquid containment and delivery system, nicotine content, refill mechanism, product classification, and relevant national legislation.

Before commercial distribution, buyers should verify the product’s applicable regulatory documentation, notification status, labeling, packaging, and market-specific requirements.
